It isn’t rescuing them.
It isn’t carrying them through life.
Sometimes love is much quieter.
It’s sitting beside someone when they don’t want to talk.
It’s bringing cookies after failure.
It’s saving an embarrassing dinosaur drawing.
It’s remembering a promise nobody else remembers.
It’s noticing when somebody’s smile disappears.
And, when life becomes difficult, it’s refusing to vanish.
